The mesh opening cinches down to 2.5cm for a fully closed bag, opens right out to 23.5cm for a head-out ride, and locks anywhere in between with an adjustable limiter buckle. Three-Point Load Spread That Protects Your Back

Carrying 628g of bag plus a cat on one set of shoulder straps is how backs get sore. Q1: Will my cat escape through the head-out opening?

A: Not if you size it correctly. Cinch the drawstring to just past your cat's neck — wide enough for their head, too narrow for their shoulders — then lock it with the limiter buckle. Always clip the internal safety tether to a collar or harness as a second layer. Start with the opening smaller than you think and widen it once you see how they behave.

Q2: Can I close it completely?

A: Yes. The drawstring closes down to 2.5cm, which effectively seals the port while still letting air through the mesh. Useful for vet waiting rooms, busy streets, or any cat who gets overwhelmed by too much stimulation.

Q3: Should my cat's head be out the whole time?

A: That's up to your cat. Confident cats enjoy the view; anxious ones often prefer the port closed and the mesh windows for airflow. Watch their body language on the first few outings rather than assuming head-out is better.
